Chirus - Prolouge

Thousands of years ago,the world of Tebel was in a golden age of magic, guided by god-like guardians who led its mortals in peace and wisdom. Then,in an event known as "the dreadful days," Tebel was shaken by cataclysmic earthquakes, fiery volcanic eruptions, and powerful storms. The destruction was so great that it sundered continents and threatened to destroy all mortal life. Then, as suddenly as it began, the cataclysm ended. In its wake, magic weakened, and the guardians went dormant, speaking only rarely and indirectly to the mortals they had once guided, leaving them to discover their own paths. Now, the world has splintered into dozens of kingdoms which constantly war with each other. Two kingdoms, the rivals Vale and Selva, are locked in a savage war that has degraded into a deadlock. As these kingdoms vie for an advantage, a group of scouts is dispatched into the great Chiremar desert, in search of their enemy. What they find instead will change the fate of Tebel forever.
